After a new beginning at the Berwick Netball Club in 2017, and losing some integral members of our club to retirement and bigger and better things for them, we have seen success both on and off the court. Having 2 teams take court in the Grand Final and our wonderful result of 15 & U Whites taking the Premiership Cup. Our 13 & U Reds had a wonderful season, but just didn't make it over the line to take the win. 15 & U Reds, lost in the Preliminary Final by a goal, after coming from 4th on the ladder is was a super effort from the young guns. 13 & U Whites, lost in the 1st Semi Final, but after the season they had, it was a huge accomplishment form this young #wickers. The Club are super proud of the efforts of all involved and their display of teamwork through out the finals.
On Monday 11th September, the SEFNL awards night were held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre. President Mel Broadley was shocked and proud to receive the award for "Best Conducted Club" voted by all umpires during the Home and Away season. Congratulations to everyone involved in the BNC, this award is a reflection of the club and what it stands for. Fellow Presidents, Glenn Gambetta - BFC & Mel Broadley hosting the evening, it saw some wonderful moments reflected on and magnificent club people awarded throughout the evening.
